My crazy journey to somewhere!

 My First Blog Post

Well hello this is my first blog. I am a single well kinda single in transition. This year started off pretty bad. I was staying in a womens shelter in January with my three kids. What a mess. Around mid January my sister was hospitalized for complications from gastric bypass surgery. She ended up slipping in a coma. I never got to tell her I loved her. You see the last time we spoke we were arguing about my current husband which landed me in the shelter. I remember telling her how mean she was and how I would never forgive them for doing what they were doing. I know they were words and I never ment them. She knew what I was going through because she was in two abusive relationships and was just helping me. We say mean and hateful things when were mad and hurt. I visited her as much as I could the shelter had rules and curfews we had to follow for our protection. We had to let here go in early March. That was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. I leaned over her in her ICU bed and kissed her and asked for forgiveness.I held her hand and looked at her sleeping. She was so beautiful. I remember lookin back in my childhood and remembering how pretty she always was. My brother and I got her ready for her casket which was another hard thing. I felt I had to though. My other sister was talking to my brother and I before we left for the wake and told us about the song she wanted played at the service. She said it was "When I get where I am going." by Brad Peasly and Dolly Parton. Well I never heard it so we said fine. We got my sister ready and let for the airport to pick up an aunt that had come to the funeral. My brother and I were in silence for a while. I was thinking about what we did for our sister and I asked my brother,"Do you think Marty liked what we did?" and he replied."I hope so." at that very moment that song played on the radio. I had never heard it and My brother said."You got your answer." It sent chills up my spine, but I was happy because I knew it was good.Well thats alot huh. Bored yet? Stay tuned!!
